  1. I love the light, the subject, the composition... everything about this photo I love! I've just been contemplating chickens as of late (seriously) and your photo just fits the theme my mind has wandered into. Cindy at Rosehaven Cottage

  2. Is that really one of Whitey's "babies"? Wow. I love your tomatorpictures, too. Sunset had a beautiful recipe with fresh tomatoes baked on filo. It is tough to find a good tomato in Hawaii. Your's look so yummy.

  3. I have been jones-ing for some of the Whitey chicky babies pics. (wow, couldn't say that with lips) so this was nice, but I still want to see the others and how their colors are turning out. especially the little black one.
I hope you get to keep the roosters and then have your own farm raised eggs, that way you know where they came from. Thank your friend who supplied Whitey with her family for us, this has been great reading.

  5. Is the one pictured the same as the stylish one portrayed recently? Perhaps tattoos or nametags would satisfy your enquiring minds out here! Thanks for a chick pic.

  6. Always love the chick pics! After trying another recipe to take to dinner (that I didn't like), I remembered you collection and was inspired by your color of summer salad. So simple as the ingredients are the stars and fun to share what I had in the garden. Thanks!

December 2015 update: Hi! For some reason I can't figure out, Blogger hasn't been letting me leave comments on my own blog (!) for the last several months, so I've been unable to respond to your comments and questions. My apologies for any inconvenience! You're always welcome to email me: farmgirlfare AT gmail DOT com.

Hi! Thanks for visiting Farmgirl Fare and taking the time to write. While I'm not always able to reply to every comment, I receive and enjoy reading them all.

Your feedback is greatly appreciated, and I especially love hearing about your experiences with my recipes. Comments on older posts are always welcome!

Please note that I moderate comments, so if I'm away from the computer it may be a while before yours appears.

I try my best to answer all questions, though sometimes it takes me a few days. And sometimes, I'm sorry to say, they fall through the cracks, and for that I sincerely apologize.

I look forward to hearing from you and hope you enjoy your e-visits to our farm!
