  1. Look at how green it is in September! This makes me want to move to Missouri. Sometimes here in the high desert, I dream of acres and acres of Kentucky Blue Grass...

  2. I live in Missouri but I only have dogs to round up! Love all your pictures. My father grew up in Tennessee and all our childhood we spent commuting from here to our farm. Great memories.

  3. Hi I Gallop On,
I, too, was surprised by how green it was back in late September. This photo record of the farm I've been making has been quite an eye opener!

    Hi Kat,
    Yes indeed!

    Hi Nina,
Thanks and welcome to the farm! : )

    Hi Connie,
Welcome to the farm! Ha ha, rounding up dogs can be quite enough at times. : ) Thanks for taking the time to write and say hello. I look forward to hearing from you again.

    Hi Clare,
    : )

    Hi Amy,
I like that view, too. It's actually looking up the driveway away from the house and toward the front gate at the base of the hill.

Just for fun, here's another picture of that same part of the farm. In the second photo in this post you can see the same little green bush on the right side of this green September photo. The wagon was heading toward the front gate and then up the steep hill on the right.

I just stumbled across your blog today (I am from a very small country island, though now transplanted in the depths of urban south America) and I am in raptures. :) keep up the good work!

December 2015 update: Hi! For some reason I can't figure out, Blogger hasn't been letting me leave comments on my own blog (!) for the last several months, so I've been unable to respond to your comments and questions. My apologies for any inconvenience! You're always welcome to email me: farmgirlfare AT gmail DOT com.

Hi! Thanks for visiting Farmgirl Fare and taking the time to write. While I'm not always able to reply to every comment, I receive and enjoy reading them all.

Your feedback is greatly appreciated, and I especially love hearing about your experiences with my recipes. Comments on older posts are always welcome!

Please note that I moderate comments, so if I'm away from the computer it may be a while before yours appears.

I try my best to answer all questions, though sometimes it takes me a few days. And sometimes, I'm sorry to say, they fall through the cracks, and for that I sincerely apologize.

I look forward to hearing from you and hope you enjoy your e-visits to our farm!
